The club offers its sincerest sympathies to the extended family and friends of JIM HYLAND from Wexford, brother of Billy Hyland, Hon. Treasurer of our Men’s Club. May Jim rest in peace.

Our Captains Michael Conneally and Anne Marie Murray along with our President Stephen King held their DRIVE-IN on Sunday, 26th February. The three officers were taken by tractor, (a 1979 John Deere) to the 1st tee adjacent to the Clubhouse where a large group had gathered. After Michael, Anne-Marie and Stephen had taken their tee shots everyone had a thoroughly enjoyable social evening in the Clubhouse.

The EARLY BIRD DRAW for those who had paid their membership on/or before 26th February, was won by Martin Keane. Martin will receive half his membership.
The Special Full Membership 2016 Draw was won by our Chairman, Noel Coen. Congratulations to Martin and Noel and thank you to all those who supported the club.

All members are encouraged to help Lauren King raise funds for the Projects Abroad Charity. Lauren will be travelling to Nepal in June 2017 to help care for Nepalese children.

To help Lauren, a special cycle has been organised to take place at 12noon on Saturday, 25th March. Cyclists will start at the Bridge Bar and travel from Mountbellew to Newbridge to Kilkerrin onto Moylough and back to Mountbellew. On the return a barbecue along with refreshments will be served.
