Mountbellew Golf Club
On Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th September the Progolf Open stableford
competitions was held. Winner: Brendan Hynes (23) 41pts,
2nd: Joe Glennon (9) 40pts, Gross: Keith Higgins (5) 34pts.
Ladies results: Siobhan Fallon (16) 38pts, 2nd: Caroline Delaney (16) 37pts,
Gross: Chrissie Hogan (16) 16pts.
1st nine: Mary Costello (21) 19pts, 2nd nine: Marie Conway (30) 19pts.

both the Mens and Ladies competitions.

In light of the success that David Kitt has enjoyed over recent years
culminating in his selection on the Irish Youth Olympics Team the club
organised a special presentation to him on Friday 28th September.
David will be travelling on Monday 1st October to Buenos Aires,
Argentina with the Irish Youth Olympics team. The club are very proud
of David and wish him well in his quest to win Gold for Ireland.
David who has worked very hard on his game is a great example for
all young people to follow and is very deserving of his call up to
represent our country.

A presentation was also be made to both Adam Challoner and Luke Cunningham
who again enjoyed a fantastic year on the fairways. Both young men have
represented Connaught and Ireland at junior level. The club is also very
proud of their efforts and wish to congratulate them on their achievements so far.
