On Saturday 30th June Our Lady Captain’s Brid Gilmore Prize took place in glorious sunshine.
The 27 holes stroke event was very well supported and with on course refreshments provided
there were no excuses for bad golf. At the presentation of prizes Brid thanked all her family
and friends who had supported her in her year so far. She thanked all those who had played
in the special 3 person scramble from Monday 25th to Friday 29th June. She also paid tribute
to the ground staff and volunteers who had come and helped prepare the course for her special day.
Scoring was competitive and the winner by half a shot was Mary Hyland on 94.5, 2nd: Breda Barrett 95,
